Kaylub Hyde's solo career began in early '95 in which he began writing songs long since forgotten. The first demotape he created was entitled "My Imperfect Heaven" including tracks such as "The Devil's Other Half", "The Fall Of The World" and "Deep Cut". This tape proved to be a younger, full of angst teenaged Kaylub. Soon there after Kaylub created and compiled a new set of songs and poems. Once enough was gathered up he placed them on his 2nd demotape entitled "Blossom & Decay" featuring songs such as "Blossom & Decay", "Painfully Yours" and "Carry On". From his projects and months of work Kaylub was noticed and joined a band called "HeadspacE". For a year therein through he played and wrote music with the band and gave up the solo career for a year and a half. Soon though, the band knew it was time to go their own ways and Kaylub began digging into his solo roots again. Another demotape was then created entitled "Mother Knows Best" featuring titles such as "No Goals", "No Place Left To Go" and "Heaven Knows". This time, his demotape got him noticed enough to have the chance to record a full length CD and a little better equipment. So almost immediately after "Mother Knows Best" Kaylub wrote and recorded "Road To No Where". The CD included tracks such as "Mirrors", "Sunshine Sometimes", "The Cut That Never Heals" and "The Journey Back". To date, Kaylub can honestly say that "Road to know where" was the first solo work he was completely proud of. After another half a year Kaylub decided to experiment with something different than the usual Acoustic songs, and decided to try mixing some dance music. The result was a style of dance music that was unique and splendid. Kaylub is still impressed with the results of "U-Turn" which includes the tracks "Internal Prayer", "Hole In My Rear View" and "Dancing With The Demons". Kaylub would continue to help out Michelle Boudreau record her album "Reality". Soon after Kaylub moved on to join "Cafe Insomnia", his full time music gig to date (A year and a half and still going). They recorded their first album "Nevermore" and are currently recording their second CD. While the recording of Cafe Insomnia's second CD has been taking place, Kaylub has been putting in additional energy to record his new solo album he plans to entitle "Preach On Preacher". As if this all isn't enough of a work load, he has taken on a second band project with a female vocalist and plans to have atleast an EP of "Second Sphere" released soon.
